We bought Leo from a local pet store the same month that we moved in together. After our cat Jasmine died, we decided that Leo needed a playmate. My husband found the name of a breeder of Cocker spaniel and Havanese cross puppies. a few hours away from here. Still grieving the loss of our cat, we headed out to Berwyn, cheque book in hand and with a dog already picked out B2 from the website. We took Leo with us to meet his new sister. Well it turned into a reunion with his Mother. Leo and Chloe are half siblings. So it seemed like destiny for Chloe to come home with us.
The two dogs get along great. Total opposites in personality. Leo is a very easy go -lucky. Chloe is very timid, and usually takes Leo's lead. Leo has the weight advantage over Chloe.
Leo (black) 7yrs old and Chloe (blonde) 5 yrs old.
Before Rachael the dogs had never been around a baby or kids. As expectant parents it is common to worry about how all of the "kids" would get along. Luckily from day one, Leo and Chloe accepted Rachael and adjusted very well. Rachael loves the dogs and the dogs even when she was a baby were very protective of her. These days Rachael can be heard saying "Leo is my brother and Chloe is my sister".
